Probably, surrealism’s brightest moments are bound to humor.Luis Bunuel, Monty Python, René Magritte, Groucho Marx or Woody Allen's stories prove it. Great humorist Miguel Gila also made good use of it, like that night when, while strolling with his wife down the Gran Via in Madrid, he saw a poor man being beaten by three burly thugs. Gila, horrified, doubted whether to do something, and so he told his wife: "shall I go, shall I not. Shall I go, shall I not. I eventually decided to take part – he explained ─ and the four of us did quite a good job!"
