Sala BBK

C/ Gran Via Nº 19, Bilbao (Bizkaia)

Located in the Gran Via of Bilbao number 19, the Sala BBK exhibition hall (once one of the most emblematic cinemas of the Gran Via), is a space open to the diffusion of urban culture, as well as all types of musical events, theatre performances, conferences and acts of social or supportive character. It has 440 seats and the most modern technical equipment.

The majority of the literal performances of the week will take place in the hall, ideal because of its location and structure, and it will host the core acts of LA RISA DE BILBAO / BILBOKO BARREA (THE LAUGHTER OF BILBAO). The audience will assist at roundtable discussions and interviews with prominent authors such as David Lodge, Elvira Lindo or Albert Boadella. There will also be the possibility to be present at the presentation of the BBK Award La Risa de Bilbao to Francisco Ibañez.

The exhibition of Juan Carlos Equillor will be located the BBK exhibition hall.
